The fund is actively managed and seeks to provide to increase the value of investment over the long-term (more than 5 years).

To achieve this, the fund typically invests in a broad range of sectors across the UK economy.


The fund has two managers, each managing a separate part of the fund's assets.

Baillie Gifford seeks to identify market-leading companies that have above-average cash flow and earnings growth. This is a strategy known as growth investing.

Schroders employs a long-term approach to investing in equities that may be out-of-favour with the market.
